Alexandros Flambouraris
Alekos Flabouraris was born in 1938 in Athens.
He is a graduate civil engineer from the University of Graz in Austria and the National Technical University of Athens.
In his youth, he was a member of the KKE and the Lambrakis Youth, participating in the struggles for the self-determination of Cyprus.
He was arrested by the Greek military junta for his actions against the Colonels’ dictatorship.
After the fall of the military junta was a member of the Political Secretariat of the KKE Interior. He later joined the Coalition of the Left, Synaspismos and now is a member of Syriza.
In the September 2015 election he was elected to the Hellenic Parliament representing Athens A constituency with Syriza.
From January 25, 2015 to August 20, 2015, he was Minister of State for Policy Coordination, and from September 23, 2015 to date, Minister of State for Citizens Affairs.
He is also president of the Policy Coordination Committee responsible for Infrastructure and Investment since November 2015.
From September 2018, the Prime Minister also commissioned the monitoring of the country's financial system.
