Appointed Vice Prime Minister for Romania’s Strategic Partnerships’ Implementation in January 2018, after having previously held the position of Minister delegate for European Affairs and ad interim Minister of Justice. She is currently serving her second term as deputy in the Romanian Parliament, continuing the legislative work begun in 2012. 

Graduate in Law Studies from the University of Bucharest, the Faculty of Law and International Relations; master's degree (LL.M.) at Yale Law School, USA; Ph.D. in Law at Yale Law School; began her career as a lawyer in New York City, collaborating with White & Case LLP law firm.
