Camille Egloff
Camille is a Senior Partner and Managing Director in the Athens office.
She leads BCG's Transportation and Logistics Sector globally.
During her 20 years with BCG, Camille has had a particular focus on Shipping and Logistics, advising different types of companies, from large corporate to mid-size family businesses to shipping desks of Oil Majors, and commodity players. She has also worked with States reviewing their shipping strategy and the development of their shipping clusters.
She has worked across shipping segments: containers, tankers, LNG, LPG, dry-bulk, feeders, off-shore, ROPAX and ports.
She has supported companies in different types of efforts: business turnaround, growth strategy, M&A and PMI, operational excellence, commercial excellence, organizational setup, performance management, governance, IT, carve-out of assets and businesses as well as complete from scratch business-built.
She has worked extensively with PE and other investors in assessing various shipping and logistics assets and companies.
She also advises oil majors, resource companies and large industrial groups on their freight and shipping strategy.
Camille is the author of various publications in Shipping, including 2019's "Resolving the Blockchain Paradox in Transportation and Logistics", 2018's "Digital Imperative in Container Shipping", BCG 2016 Container Report "Sailing in Strong Winds: The new Normal of Global Trade and Container Shipping", the 2014 edition of the BCG container report, as well as various articles on fuel efficiency, alternative fuels in Shipping and governance of family businesses with a focus on Shipping.
Camille earned a Masters in Business from HEC, the leading French business school, in 1997. She is fluent in French, English, Greek and Spanish.
