Giovanna Kampouri Monnas is President of the Foundation Estia Agios Nikolaos in Germany. The Foundation created,  and   oversees  Estia Agios Nikolaos  in Galaxidi, the only life sharing community in Greece, where adults with special needs  and their caregivers live, work and spend their free time together in mutual enrichment. Inclusion, Diversity and Sustainability are the three key elements of the vision and purpose of Estia Agios Nikolaos. The community attracts caregivers, volunteers as well as supporters and donors from all over the world. In its 25 years of existence,   Estia Agios Nikolaos has  provided a life-long  home for special needs adults from all over Greece. It has also built a strong inter-relationship of mutual support with the surrounding area, the towns of Galaxidi and Itea, the Delphi Municipality and  Fokida.

Giovanna is  involved professionally  in the corporate governance of different global companies. She is Board member of Aptar Group in the USA ( as of 2010),  Puig  in Spain (as of 2006) and,  since 2019, Chairman of Exea International in the Netherlands. 

Her previous Board assignments include Randstad Group (2006-2018), Imerys (2015-2018) and TNT (2005-2009). 

As an executive, Giovanna worked in two companies, Procter & Gamble in Greece and the USA  and  J.A.Benckiser  in Germany. He most recent role was President of Benckiser International. 

Giovanna got her B.Sc and M.Sc  degrees from the London School of Economics.
