Mike Manatos
Mike Manatos is President of Manatos & Manatos, a consulting and public policy firm in Washington, DC, referred to by the Washington Post as "one of the most powerful lobbying firms.” For three generations and over 84 years the Manatos family has been working with top US policymakers, both Republicans and Democrats, formulating high-level US policy. Mike also serves as Executive Director of the Washington Oxi Day Foundation, whose mission is to inform American policymakers and opinion leaders of the profound role Greece played in the outcome of World War II and the freedoms the world enjoys today. In these capacities, he and his family have spent much of their careers promoting Greece before some of the most influential people in the world. In addition, Mike serves on the Board of Directors of some of the largest and most influential national Greek-American philanthropic organizations, including Leadership 100 and The National Hellenic Society. He was appointed to, and represents in Washington, DC, the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s Archdiocesan Council. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for America's Mid-Atlantic region.
