Richard Langstaff is a leading European financial services entrepreneur and financial services executive. He has started, built and sold 3 successful financial services businesses, in partnership with leading private equity investors, since 1997. Since 2017 he has been responsible for building and managing Cepal Hellas, the first recipient of a Servicing License from the Bank of Greece. He takes a strong interest in finding a path to resolving the current NPL situation in Greece in a way which is realistic and sustainable for both banks and borrowers.

Richard has lived in the US, the UK and Australia in addition to spending a significant amount of time in Greece. He has degrees from Rice University, the University of Denver and the School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS), University of London and has been a Distinguished Visitor at Queens’ College, Cambridge.
